All About Allium, Part 2

Another spring flowering Allium bulb, planted in the fall, is Allium Moly “ or Jeanine” or Golden Onion. It grows 12 inches tall and produces a circular floret of star shaped yellow flowers. Because of its small size, plant several in a group at the front of the border for a bright effect. This bulb is hardy from zones 3 to 9.
